Private Whale Watching Tour (in season, full day)
We leave Cape Town at 8am and travel along the breathtaking southern Cape coast through Gordon’s Bay, Pringle Bay and Betty’s Bay. We continue onto Hermanus and Gaansbaai, where we’ll take a 2-hour trip out to sea on a purpose-built whale watching boat. We’ll do our best to help you see these magical mammals up close and personal. On our return trip to Cape Town you may choose to enjoy a late lunch in Hermanus (for your account) and then browse the local boutiques or try your hand at bartering for souvenirs in the local market. We return to Cape Town along the N2 highway.
Cape Agulhas Southernmost point of Africa Private Tour (full day)
We set off at 8am and travel towards the southernmost tip of Africa. Along the way, we’ll take in the Africa Penguin Colony at Stony Point and the beautiful Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. You may choose to have lunch at a local restaurant (for your account). After lunch we drive through to Cape Agulhas and explore the 2nd oldest lighthouse in South Africa. We then take a walk to the spot where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet, at the southernmost tip of Africa. We return to Cape Town along the N2 highway.
VA Waterfront and Robben Island Tour
(full day)
We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 8:30am and depart the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for Robben Island. This infamous penal colony and now UNESCO World Heritage Site, is where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 18 years. The prison was also home to many other political dissidents at the time. Your guide on Robben Island will be a former inmate and the tour will take around three and a half hours.
On your return, head into one of Africa’s most visited destinations - the highly fashionable Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Visit historical landmarks and enjoy the buzz of a real working harbour. You can also indulge in some retail therapy in luxury boutiques or enjoy the freshest of fish and most succulent meat in restaurants set against the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain.
Private Garden Route Game Safari
( 2 days)
If it’s time to answer the call of the wild, this 2-day tour takes you along the spectacular Garden Route to a luxury safari lodge. Once there and settled in, you’ll depart on a game-viewing drive in an open game-viewing vehicle. Your experienced game ranger guide will do their best to help you spot animals, including Africa’s famous Big 5. After stopping for sundowners on an open plain, we return to the lodge for a mouthwatering buffet dinner. Early the following morning we head out for another game drive and try to spot animals we may have missed the day before. After a scrumptious brunch, we head back to Cape Town.
Cape Peninsula and Cape Point
We drive along the stunning Atlantic Seaboard, taking in the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, overlooked by the spectacular Twelve Apostles mountain range.
The tour then moves along Chapman’s Peak Drive with its breathtaking views over Hout Bay and beyond. We’ll visit an ostrich farm and learn more about these ancient survivors of the dinosaur era. You can also indulge in some retail therapy at the farm’s elegant boutique.
Next up is the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point.
We return via Simonstown, and learn about the historic harbour, the story of the legendary Great Dane, Just Nuisance, and meet penguins in their protected colony.
Your tour finishes with a leisurely walk through the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Wine Route Tours
Your tour starts with a morning drive through Cape Town, where you’ll learn about the history of the oldest city in South Africa.
We then drive to the scenic vineyards of Stellenbosch, visiting one of the many famous wine farms and enjoying a wine tasting.
Next we head over to Franschhoek, South Africa’s own ‘corner of France’, named in honour of the Huguenots who brought the culture and production of excellent wines to South Africa. Franschhoek is known as the gourmet capital of South Africa, so naturally, a delectable food and wine pairing will await us.
We then enjoy a leisurely drive back to Cape Town.
